3 WAYS TO PLAY
With 12 questions per game, players have the option to play three different ways:

- FORWARD PASS puts the player and a friend in direct, head-to-head competition as they play for bragging rights and pass questions back and forth in a “trivia with friends” style format.

- LIVE pits players against the nation in a real-time competition every Sunday and Monday during the professional football season, increasing their individual season and team point totals.

- THE VAULT gives players the opportunity to play all LIVE games on their own schedule while continuing to build their point totals.

More than just another game of Q & A, Season Pass gives the player the ability to strategically use power-ups to help crush the opposition and dominate the leaderboards. Power-ups include a score-doubling Boost, the ability to Pass on a tough question, or a 50/50 lifeline to eliminate some wrong answers and even the odds. Players will also declare loyalty to the city of their favorite team – combining their scores with other players’ to watch their favorite team rise up in the rankings.

“We really wanted to capture the common thread we share with all athletes… our competitive drive. Finally, there’s a game that makes all of those days spent watching football worthwhile,” says designer Steve Overmyer. “You may know WHO played Rod Tidwell in the movies, but do you remember what team he played for? Do you remember what player missed the field goal ‘wide right’ in the Super Bowl?”

In Tapper it was your job to man several counters in a bar and rapidly serve drinks to approaching patrons, while simultaneously collecting their empty glasses before they slide off the end of the counter and shatter all over the floor.

Recently, it was announced that Warner Bros. and developer Square One would be releasing a brand new version of the Tapper franchise for iOS called Tapper World Tour. Tapper World Tour will retain the same basic gameplay elements of the original Tapper and Root Beer Tapper but will have you working in bars around the world, and instead of just serving your average beer to patrons you’ll be serving drinks that are appropriate to the locale that you’re working.
